Add the same rate plan to several room types in one go, so you don't have to create it room by room. You can bulk create base rates or derived rates.
Before you start
Base rates have their own price.
Derived rates follow a base rate's daily price, going up or down by a set amount or percentage.
New rate plans don't appear on your channels or booking engine until you map them. See Next steps at the end of this article.
Open bulk create
Go to Rates.
Select Bulk actions > Create rate plans.
Create base rates
Under Rate type, select Base.
Enter a Rate name, e.g. OTA rate or Walk-in. Every room type you select gets a rate plan with this name.
Enter the Base rate ($).
Optional: enter the Included occupancy and the Extra guest rates for adults and children.
On the right, under Apply to room types, tick each room type that should get this rate plan. You can also tick the box in the header to select them all.
Check the summary in The rule, then select Create.
Create derived rates
Under Rate type, select Derived.
Enter a Rate name.
Under Daily rate adjustment, choose Increase by $, Decrease by $, Increase by % or Decrease by %.
Enter the Amount.
Optional: set Minimum nights. If you leave it blank, each new rate uses the minimum nights from its base rate.
Under Apply to room types, tick the room types you want.
Choose which base rate each room type follows:
Use Derive all rooms from to pick one base rate for every selected room. Rooms are matched by rate name, e.g. Standard.
To use a different base rate for a room, change it in that room's Derive from (base rate) column.
If a room type doesn't have the base rate you picked, it's flagged as missing. Choose another base rate for that room before you create.
Check The rule, then select Create.
Derived rates update automatically when the base rate's daily price changes.
Good to know
The rule box shows what's about to be created and how many room types it applies to. Check it before you select Create.
Only base rates can be derived from. You can't derive a rate from another derived rate.
A room type can have more than one rate plan with the same name.

Bulk create only adds the rate plans to Preno. To sell them online:
