You can update rates, availability, minimum nights and other restrictions in bulk using the Bulk update feature on the Rates page — apply one edit across multiple rate plans and dates at once. To take a whole room off sale (for renovations or seasonal closures), use a room closure instead. Both changes sync to your OTAs through your Channel Manager automatically.
Bulk updating rates, availability or restrictions
In Preno, go to the Rates page and click Bulk update.
Choose what you're editing:
Rate amount
Rate availability
Rate minimum nights
Close to arrival restriction
Close to departure restriction
Extra guest amount
Derived rate rules
Specify the edit — including the dates it covers — and select the rate plans it should apply to.
Click Update and review the summary of the changes.
Click Confirm to apply the edit across all the rate plans you selected.
💡 Tips: Select Confirm & make another update if you have multiple updates to make to save time. It will default to your date range you were using prior for speed.
If a rate should always move in step with another (for example, a non-refundable rate 10% below your standard rate), set it up as a derived rate instead of bulk-updating both — see Derived rates.

Closing rooms across a date range
Bulk updating Rate availability (turning a rate off) prevents the rate from being available to be used. To take a physical room off sale entirely — for renovations, seasonal closures or holding rooms back — use a room closure instead:
On the Rates page select Bulk Rate Update > Rate availability.
Select the date range and rates you wish to close > then select 'Off'.
Click update to apply and save. You will see on the rates page it now shows "Rate Unavailable".
To reopen repeat but select "On".
All rate changes can be tracked under the rates history page (bottom of rates page). You can also manage rates page access under the user permissions.
