Understanding your Preno plan and pricing

How Preno's plans and pricing work, how to check which plan you're on, and how to upgrade or change plans.

Written by Amelia Gain

Preno has four plans: Flexi, Essentials, Growth Pilot and Enterprise/Groups

All apart from Flexi are priced by the number of units at your property, billed monthly or annually. You can check your current plan in your account settings, and change plans at any time by contacting our team.

The plans

  • Flexi: the entry-level plan, mostly for seasonal or smaller operators. A low fixed monthly base plus a 1% fee on revenue for bookings processed. Includes all bookings, from all channels. Not included are cancelled bookings.

  • Essentials: everything you need to run your property day to day: the PMS, Channel Manager (up to 3 OTAs), Website Booking Engine, auto-payments and deposits, Xero/MYOB, and support (phone, email and live chat support).

  • Growth Pilot — everything in Essentials, plus Dynamic Pricing, the full Channel Manager with 100+ OTAs and GDS, and integrations including Google Hotels, RoomPriceGenie and Zapier.

  • Enterprise/Groups — for multi-property operators and larger hotels. Everything in Growth Pilot, plus the group booking engine, API access, custom integrations and dedicated support, with custom pricing.

For a full feature-by-feature comparison, see the Preno pricing page.

Checking which plan you're on

  1. Log in to Preno and go to Settings > Billing.

  2. Your current plan, unit count and billing cycle are shown at the top.

  3. Click "Open Billing Portal" to make change to units, view statements for your subscription. Your plan name also appears on your Preno invoice.

Upgrading or changing your plan

To move to a different plan — for example upgrading from Essentials to Growth Pilot — contact our support team by live chat, phone or email and we'll switch you over.

Let us know:

  • The plan you'd like to move to

  • Your current unit count (and whether it's changing)

Upgrades take effect quickly, and your data, bookings and settings all stay exactly as they are.

Downgrading works the same way, but check the plan comparison first: features exclusive to your current plan (for example unlimited number of OTAs & Dynamic Pricing on Growth Pilot) stop being available on a lower plan.

How our pricing is calculated

  • Pricing is based on your number of units. A unit is a bookable room or space — rooms, campsites, car parks or event spaces can all count. Use the calculator on the pricing page to see the exact price for your property size.

  • Monthly or annual billing. Preno offers both month-to-month and annual. If you're paying annually (12 months up front) this gives you a discount of 20%.

  • Your unit count can change. If you open extra rooms for peak season or grow the property, update your unit count and your plan price adjusts accordingly.

  • Prices exclude local tax.
