You may have hosted a guest that caused issues at your property such as non-payment, damage to property, disruptive behaviour, or other objectionable reason.

You can blacklist the guest in Preno, to make it easier to spot bookings from this guest in the future so you can maintain a safe, respectful and financially stable environment for your staff and guests.

How to blacklist a guest

  1. Find their guest profile either on the booking, or in the Guest area.

  2. Tick Blacklist guest, and add a reason and then click Save guest.

How it works?

When a booking is added to Preno from your channel manager, Preno will check the guest details against the blacklist. The guest details that are being checked are their Name, Telephone and Email. Preno will also highlight when it is a full match, or a partial match.

You can then review the booking and take the appropriate action for the booking.

When adding a booking manually to Preno, you will see a blacklisted guest highlighted in red.

Additional tips

  • Regularly update your guest profiles to ensure accurate matching.

  • Review flagged bookings promptly to manage your bookings effectively.
