Setting up the Booking Engine to take direct deposits

If you would like to set up the Booking Engine to take deposits automatically when a booking is made, please reach out to our support team via the in app chat and we can enable it for you.

However there are a few things to take note of:

  • It will cost an additional $10NZD per month to have this feature enabled.
    ​

  • When this feature is enabled, credit card information is no longer collected from the Booking Engine and stored in Preno.
    ​
    If you're taking a deposit that is less than 100% of the Booking total, you will need to ask the guest for their credit card details so you can store it in Preno and charge them for the remaining balance.
    ​

Please note:

This feature is only available for Stripe users. It is not possible to enable this feature if you're using Windcave.

Please also let us know if you would like us to set the Booking Engine to take a 100% deposit when the guests make a booking or a different percentage amount.
