Add a payment method under Settings > Payment methods so it's available whenever you record a payment or deposit on a booking. A payment method is how you collected the money — for example cash, EFTPOS, a card charged through Stripe, or an invoice to the guest or Agent.
Adding the payment method
Go to Settings > Payment methods.
Click Add payment method.
Choose the payment method from the dropdown. If your payment method isn't on the list — for example cash — or click Custom and name your payment method.
Click Add.
After you've added your payment method, you will be able to choose your payment method when applying a payment/deposit to a booking in Preno.
💡 Tip: Keep payment method names consistent with how they appear in your accounting — it makes the Reconciliation Report and your Xero reconciliation much easier to match up.
