How to change the number of days to push inventory/rates to your channel manager

Rates can be controlled in Preno and pushed to the channel manager then to the Online Travel Agents (OTAs). Preno can push data 720 days into the future giving you the flexibility to advertise online rates/inventory for the next two years.ย 

Preno Channel Manager

For customers using Preno Channel Manager:

  1. Go to Settings > Channel Manager

  2. Click on Settings

  3. In the Supported Date Range section, you can set your desired number of days in the future to push inventory and rates. By default this is 720 days. Guests won't be able to book beyond the date and is automatically extended.

  4. Click Save.


Siteminder/Staah Channel Manager

For customers using Siteminder or Staah Channel Manager:

  1. Go to Settings in Preno

  2. Click on Integrations

  3. Scroll to the bottom of the page and click on Settings under the channel manager section

  4. A window will open where you can set your desired date range

  5. Select Save to save changes

Note: The supported date range differs between channel managers.ย 

  • Siteminder supports up to 750 days

  • Staah supports up to 730 days

By default the desired date range for new accounts is set at 750 days and 400 days for accounts created before May 2020 so please adjust accordingly by following the steps outlined above.


Rates beyond supported date range

Preno pushes rate updates 720 days into the future however after 720 days Preno pulls the rate from the same day last week.
E.g. Day 721 is a Monday and last Monday the rate was $300. This will be pulled to populate day 721 (which becomes day 720 when the day rolls over)
