How to get your Preno account connected with SiteMinder channel manager

SiteMinder channel manager

Channel manager is a product that helps you manage your property's online distribution across your Online Travel Agents (OTAs) like Expedia and Booking.com. It keeps your room availability and rates up to date and prevents you from getting accidental double bookings. They are a separate service to Preno.

SiteMinder's channel manager product is called "The Channel Manager".
When you use SiteMinder as a channel manager, Preno will control room availability and SiteMinder will control rates on online bookings. Direct bookings will still use Preno to control their rates, which means that changes to rates in SiteMinder won't be reflected back in Preno.

Existing SiteMinder account

You'll need a couple of things ready to connect SiteMinder to Preno

  1. An existing SiteMinder account, with The Channel Manager enabled.ย 

  2. Rooms organised by room type. This needs to be the same as the information you sent to us.

  3. Up to date reservations in Preno.

When you're ready, get in touch with your account manager at SiteMinder and let them know that you're ready to connect with Preno. They'll reach out to us, and we'll take over things from there. Usually this process takes about a day or two.
