View bookings received through the Channel Manager

See the bookings received through the Channel Manager, and confirm pending bookings from your booking engine.

Written by Kevin Soo

The Channel booking list shows the bookings Preno has received through the Channel Manager, from your connected channels and from your booking engine. Use it to check that a booking has come through, and to confirm pending bookings from your booking engine.

Open the Channel booking list

  1. Go to Settings > Channel Manager > Channel booking list.

  2. Click View bookings.

The list of bookings opens in a new browser tab.

Confirm pending bookings from your booking engine

Bookings made through your booking engine show mybookingsite.io as the source. A booking shows as Pending when the guest started booking but didn’t finish. While a booking is pending, no payment has been taken and the room isn’t held.

You have 24 hours to confirm a pending booking. When you confirm it, the booking is added to Preno automatically.

Before you confirm

Because the room isn’t held, it may have been booked through another channel in the meantime. Check the room is still available, and check with the guest that they’d still like to stay.

Confirm a pending booking

  1. Find the booking with mybookingsite.io as the source and a Pending status.

  2. Scroll right to the end of the row.

  3. Click ⋯ Actions, then click Confirm.

The booking is added to Preno.

No payment was taken when the guest booked, so take payment as usual.

View booking details

To see the full details of a booking, click ⋯ Actions, then click Booking Summary.

If more than 24 hours have passed

You can no longer confirm the booking from the Channel booking list. You’ll still have the guest’s details, so you can contact them and create the booking manually in Preno.
