Early access feature — Zapier integration is currently in early access for customers using the Growth plan.

Please reach out to support to enable it.

Quick steps

  1. Sign up for a Zapier account (the free tier works for testing)

  2. In Preno, go to Settings > Preno API / Integrations

  3. Create a new API token for Zapier with all permissions

  4. Copy the token straight away — you won't see it again

  5. In Zapier, click Add Connection and search for Preno

  6. Paste your API token and GUID from Preno into Zapier

  7. Click Continue to Preno to finish connecting

Before you start

You'll need:

  • A Zapier account — sign up at zapier.com if you don't already have one. The free tier is plenty for testing.

  • The Preno API feature enabled on your Preno account. If you're not sure whether it's enabled, get in touch with our team.

How to connect Preno to Zapier

1. Create a Preno API token for Zapier

In Preno, go to Settings and find the Preno API / Integrations area.

  • Click to create a new token

  • Select all permissions

  • Add a description (e.g. "Zapier") so you can identify the token later

  • Submit the form to generate the token

2. Copy and save the token immediately

Copy the token to your clipboard right away.

  • You won't be able to retrieve it again after closing the window

  • You'll paste it into Zapier in the next step

If you do lose it, no drama — just create a new one.

3. Add the Preno connection in Zapier

Head back to Zapier.

  • Click Add Connection

  • Search for Preno

  • Choose the Preno app shown in the list

4. Enter your API token and GUID

Zapier will ask for two values:

  • API token — paste the token you copied from Preno

  • GUID — copy the GUID shown in Preno and paste it into Zapier

Click Continue to Preno to complete the connection.

5. Check the connection

Return to Zapier and check that the Preno app is now connected.

6. Add other app connections

You will want to add the other apps you want to connect to so you can can create zaps. That's it — you're ready to start building Zaps.

Important notes

  • Treat your API token like a password. Anyone with the token can access your Preno data through the API.

  • If you ever need to revoke access, you can delete the token from Settings > Preno API / Integrations in Preno.

  • As this is an early access feature, you may run into quirks. Please let us know what you find.
