How to connect Preno to Zapier
1. Create a Preno API token for Zapier
In Preno, go to Settings and find the Preno API / Integrations area.
Click to create a new token
Select all permissions
Add a description (e.g. "Zapier") so you can identify the token later
Submit the form to generate the token
2. Copy and save the token immediately
Copy the token to your clipboard right away.
You won't be able to retrieve it again after closing the window
You'll paste it into Zapier in the next step
If you do lose it, no drama — just create a new one.
3. Add the Preno connection in Zapier
Head back to Zapier.
Click Add Connection
Search for Preno
Choose the Preno app shown in the list
4. Enter your API token and GUID
Zapier will ask for two values:
API token — paste the token you copied from Preno
GUID — copy the GUID shown in Preno and paste it into Zapier
Click Continue to Preno to complete the connection.
5. Check the connection
Return to Zapier and check that the Preno app is now connected.
6. Add other app connections
You will want to add the other apps you want to connect to so you can can create zaps. That's it — you're ready to start building Zaps.
Important notes
Treat your API token like a password. Anyone with the token can access your Preno data through the API.
If you ever need to revoke access, you can delete the token from Settings > Preno API / Integrations in Preno.
As this is an early access feature, you may run into quirks. Please let us know what you find.
Why you might use this
Zapier connects Preno to thousands of other apps, so you can automate small repetitive tasks. For example:
Send new bookings to a Google Sheet for reporting
Add new guests to a Mailchimp or another CRM list for email marketing
Send a SMS message when a high-value booking comes in
Trigger a task in your project management tool when a booking is cancelled
