You can now connect Expedia to Preno’s Channel Manager without needing to contact our support team. This helps you manage availability, rates, and bookings automatically between Expedia and Preno.
Step 1: Update settings in Expedia Extranet
Login to the Expedia Extranet.
Go to Rooms and Rates.
Go to Connectivity Settings
If you're connected to another channel manager, click Disconnect.
Search and select Preno in the search box under ”Availability and Rates” and “Bookings"
Click Save and continue, then Confirm
📌 Please make sure:
The Pricing Model is set to Per Day Pricing (this is the only one Preno supports).
The EQC Type is set to Availability and Rates, Booking Retrieval.
Step 2: Connect Expedia in Preno
In Preno, go to Settings > Channel Manager.
In the Channel mappings section, click Add channel.
Select Expedia, then click Add. A new tab will open.
In this screen, enter your Expedia Property ID, then click Save. (You don't need to change any other settings).
Step 3: Map your rooms and rate plan
On the Rate plan mapping screen, you will see a list of Expedia Room type/Rate plan, along with your Preno Room Type/Rate plan.
You only need to map the (manageable) rate plans.
For each rate plan, select the Preno Room Type and Preno Rate plan then click MAP.
It will ask to set up mapping configuration for specific rate plans. You only need to select the Applicable No Of Guest for the rate plan, then click Save.
Repeat for each rate plan you want to map.
Step 4: Activate the connection
Once the mapping is completed, you need to activate the connection.
Return to channel connection details module
Click on the status and select Active then Save.
This will automatically trigger a full update to the channel.
