It's important to have control over the configurations of your booking engine. This allows you to customise and optimise your booking process for your customers. In this article, we will guide you through the steps of updating and managing your booking engine configurations.
Accessing the Booking Engine Settings
To access the settings for your booking engine, go to Settings > Booking engine. Then click on Settings in the Manage booking engine configuration section. This will take you to the main page for managing your booking engine configurations (screenshot below)
While there are a wide range of settings and configurations, the numbered areas in the screenshot highlights the most commonly updated areas:
Profile - update your Property details, such as descriptions, photos, amenities and other settings.
Addons - update extras that you offer
Room setup - update details for each room type, such as descriptions, photos, amenities and bedding configurations
Map rates - you can map rates that will display on your booking engine
Edit rates - update rate plan descriptions, applicable guests and extra guest rates. You can also unmap a rate so it will not show in your booking engine.
Promo code - create and manage promo code that applies discounts for your guests.
