If your guests pay a deposit through an online channel, you can configure Preno to add its record automatically. Most frequent use cases are:
- You are using SiteMinder, and your Booking Button is integrated with a payment gateway, such as Payment Express
- You are using STAAH, and your Booking Engine is integrated with a payment gateway, such as Payment Express or Stripe
To enable this, you will need to configure Preno and specify a payment method. This is a payment method that the integration will use for the deposits that it adds.
Go to Settings > Integrations, find your channel manager and click "Settings". Under Deposits, click "Configure new source"
- Source is the name of the Preno agent. It has to match the name that Preno receives from the channel manager
- Payment method is the payment method your would like to use with the deposit. If you need to add a new method, you can do so under Settings > Payment methods.
Note: If you have Xero integration enabled, Preno will add a prepayment record in Xero too.
