Adding and removing guest extras to bookings

How to add extras and guest requests to a new booking, and how to remove them

Extras are add-ons to a booking beyond the accommodation charge — things like breakfast, wine, or airport transfers. They don't need a dollar value, and any extra you add appears on the guest's invoice at the end of their stay.


Adding extras to a new booking
When adding or editing a booking you can add Extras from the Extras & Requests section.

  1. Scroll down to Extras & Requests

  2. Click Add Extra

  3. You can either select from the Popular extras list or add a custom extra

  4. Click Add

If the booking can be invoiced to an agent (someone who uses Direct Commission), then the checkbox to Invoice agent for extra will appear.

For group bookings, Preno will assign the extra to the room you clicked on.

Removing an extra

  1. Scroll down to Extras & Requests

  2. Click the red cross next to the extra you would like to remove

  3. Click Yes to confirm removal

In group bookings, you'll need to select the room that the extra was assigned to. Once you've found the room, then you'll see the extra and be able to delete it.

If you've already taken payment from the guest, you'll need to void the payment and create a new one. If you invoiced an agent for the extra (as a part of the accommodation invoice), you'll need to void that invoice and create a new one.
