How to prevent the assigned room for the booking from being accidentally modified

Sometimes guests have specific room requests or groups want to stay together.

You can lock the assigned room for the booking to prevent accidental modification.

How to lock the assigned room

  1. On the view booking screen, click on More and select Lock assigned room

  2. Choose the room(s) that you would like to lock and click Save

  3. Once the room is locked, you will see a lock icon for the room. ​
    If the booking being moved to another room while locked, an error message will inform the user to unlock the room assignment first.

To remove the lock, follow the same steps above and untick the locked room.

Important note on availability
​Locking the assigned room may reduce your ability to shuffle bookings around when you have high occupancy. This may lead to an overbooking scenario.
