Quick steps
Go to Settings > Rooms
Click the room type you want to update
Tick Exclude from housekeeping
Click Save room type
How to exclude a room type from the housekeeping report
If you have room types that do not need cleaning, you can remove them from the housekeeping report.
For example, this can be useful for:
campsites
car parks
event rooms
offsite rooms
any room type that should not appear on the housekeeping list
To do this:
Go to Settings > Rooms
Click the room type you want to exclude
Tick Exclude from housekeeping
Click Save room type
Once saved, that room type will no longer appear on the housekeeping report.
Important notes
This setting applies to the room type. All rooms in that room type will be hidden from the housekeeping report
You can turn this off at any time by unticking Exclude from housekeeping and saving again
Why you might use this
Some properties manage spaces that appear in Preno but do not need housekeeping.
For example, a holiday park may have campsites and car parks set up as room types. Including these in the housekeeping report can make the report harder to use. Excluding them keeps the report cleaner and easier for staff to work through.
